The Women’s ministries at ZSJ are vibrant and varied and include 2 Bible Study/Circle groups, Quilting group, and events like Advent by Candlelight, the Holiday Food Fair, Guest Day, and Cluster, Synodical and Triennial gatherings.

Our general meeting is usually in September and includes a light meal and/or dessert, joint Bible study and a business meeting.

Other activities for the year sometimes include a guest night, care center birthday parties, gifts for confirmands, baptismal candidates, and graduates, Advent by Candlelight, the Holiday Food Fair, World Day of Prayer, rummage sale, teddy bear ministry, donation of hundreds of quilts, school, health, layette and sewing kits to LWR and local charities, donation of hundreds of dollars to worthy charities, both local and abroad, and hosting of many church events, including confirmation and graduation receptions and funeral dinners.
